Water, Water Everywhere, but How Much Do You Drink?

Did you know that 2/3 of your body weight is water and that in order for the cells in our bodies to carry out their functions properly we’ve got to drink plenty of it? Did you also know that the cells in our bodies need water to carry nutrients round the body?

Here are some more benefits to drinking water

• Its Free

• Can curb your appetite

• Kind to teeth

• Improves concentration

• Keeps skin hydrated, and looking younger, fresh and vibrant.

• Promotes a general feeling of wellbeing

But with a lot of conflicting information out there about how much to drink your thinking, how much when and how do I know its enough.

Well here are some basic pointers from the NHS. We should be drinking 8 small glasses (200ml) of water a day and adding a bit more if were exercising, getting headaches or just lacking energy.
